Tobias, (Toby)  showed up at the site of a former local colony monitored by one of our fosters, looking very unkempt and “thrown away”.  He had a severe ear infection and obvious dog or other large animal bite wounds on his side/abdomen that were partially healed. He was shy, but very receptive to being petted once he started being fed, so he was immediately trapped and brought into foster care so he could receive proper medical care and nutritional support. Once he received care he blossomed into quite the loving, sweet and talkative companion kitty. He is happiest when he can sit by the window and birdwatch, and will gladly spend hours being brushed and petted. The foster has noticed that although he tolerates other kitties, he may be happiest being an only kitty or with another kitty who does not act like an alpha kitty.  If you are looking for a loyal companion kitty to cuddle with, Tobias is your man!

Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, FeLV test, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained.

Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org.  There is a link on the top of the home page.
