Meet Salem – The Mysterious Midnight Adventurer!

 

Salem is a stunning, all-black kitten with just a few magical white patches on her chest and belly that make her even more magical. Salem was found just before the Great Snow Storm of 2025 on her foster mom’s property, and she’s been a little explorer ever since.

 

This curious adventurer loves to scale the cat tower in the living room like she’s conquering a mountain, and when she’s not busy with her acrobatic feats, she’s perched on the catio, watching the birds flit by as if she’s plotting her next big adventure. Salem’s playful side comes out when she’s on the chase—especially for the mysterious red dot that she and her foster siblings will track with laser focus! And when treat time comes, Salem knows what she likes—freeze-dried egg yolks are her top choice, but she’s also quick to snatch up rotisserie chicken pieces whenever her foster dad brings them home for dinner.

 

Though Salem is a bit of an independent spirit and enjoys her solo adventures, once she decides you’re worthy of her company, she’ll let you scoop her up and reward you with the sweetest purrs as she purrs her approval.

Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained.

 

Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org/adopt.  There is a link on the top of the home page. Click on "Fill in", you don't have to register.  For more information about this kitty or any others, you can contact us at Adoptions@aaFlorida.org.  We are a foster organization and don't have set hours we are open - but we will gladly set up an appointment for you to meet any cat.  Of course, you're under no obligation to adopt if you come to meet any of our fabulous felines.
