Tux is a remarkable Austrailian Shepard mix who is looking for a special forever home. He has one blue and one brown eye and has big floppy ears! He was taken in by his foster family as a very sick puppy. He has grown into a very well behaved and funny young adult. He is very smart and very playfull. His Foster mom says: He is crate trained and housebroken. He is neutered. He walks at my side on a leash and sits immediately when I stop. He knows sit, down commands well and is doing well with his stay command. He is very intelligent and learns very quickly. Knows tricks like hand shake, roll over and weaving thru the legs on command. He is treat motivated for quick learning, but once he knows the command he does it without a treat. He is up to date on all shots, and is on heart worm preventative. He loves people and dogs and has been socialized. Has been introduced to cats without a problem but does not live with cats. Gets along well with other dogs, but gets too excited with another young dog or puppy his own age and will not let them alone. 2 plus year old dogs tell him to stop and he does immediately stop bugging them. He has a lot of energy and loves to play with toys and swim in a pool or the sound. He will be 6 mos on Sept 24 th and has a clean bill of health. He is 34 pounds and the vet guesses he will weigh about 40 pounds as an adult.
