Larry is a large, stunning Maine Coon kitty. He is a quiet, cool guy. He is about three years old, is already neutered and up-to-date on shots.  He loves to have his ears and neck rubbed and enjoys being brushed.  Larry prefers a quiet household since he is coming from a 12 cat household! Larry will blossom with having more attention in a quiet home.  He enjoys looking out the window and a screened in porch would be nice! Larry is submissive around other cats but happiest around non-aggressive kitties.  Larry comes to the door if someone new comes to visit, but prefers more time getting to know you before he wants new people to pet him.  Larry prefers not to be pestered by other cats, and if they bother him, he will find a high spot to get away from them, like the top of the refrigerator! Larry has not been socialized with dogs but a nice quiet one might be wonderful with time and patience and proper introductions.  A nice dog could make his life more meaningful.  Larry tested negative for feline leukemia but tested positive last week for FIV but will be retested in case of a false positive.  Larry is healthy and may not have issues from the diagnosis for a long time.  If he is positive for the disease, it is NOT contagious to dogs, other pets, or people. It can only be spread to another cat through a hard bite wound as sexual transmission is not a concern since he's already neutered.  

His adoption fee is $55.00 which includes up-to-date shots, FeLV test (negative) and spay surgery that is already done. Larry is already litterbox trained.
